What Are Corrupted Elements?
Corrupted elements are ultra-rare variants of standard elements that deal double damage in combat. They appear with a purple aura in your inventory and display a "C" icon in the top-left corner when unequipped. The name prefix "Corrupted" appears when you hold the orb.
There are 23 corrupted variants matching the base element roster. A corrupted Rare element can out-damage an unawakened Legendary or Mythic at equal mastery—a corrupted Fire orb punches far above its rarity tier.
How to Obtain Corrupted Elements
Corrupted elements cannot be crafted from normal orbs. You must roll them through the summoning altar once you reach level 90. Each summon has a 1% base chance of producing a corrupted variant regardless of element rarity.
The Wizard NPC sells corruption potions that raise your corrupted roll rate from 1% to 2.5%. Stack potions during dedicated summon sessions when you have thousands of gems saved for ten-pulls.
- Level 90+ required before corrupted rolls become possible
- 1% base corrupted rate per altar summon
- 2.5% rate with corruption potion from the Wizard
- Cannot convert existing elements—only obtained through rolls
- Corrupted Shards from corrupted mobs upgrade gear stats separately
Immortalizing Corrupted Elements
Switching elements normally resets your equipped power. Immortalizing a corrupted element costs 1,000 Raidium at the Elemental God NPC and makes it permanently accessible—you can swap back anytime without losing ownership.
Only corrupted Epic, Legendary, and Mythic elements qualify for immortalization. Budget ten full raid clears before attempting to lock a corrupted Mythic permanently.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Minimum Rarity | Corrupted Epic, Legendary, or Mythic |
| Cost | 1,000 Raidium per immortalization |
| Raidium Source | 100 per raid clear, every 2 hours |
| Benefit | Permanent element ownership across swaps |
Corrupted Meta and Trade Value
Community reports value Corrupted Nightmare above two Corrupted Galaxy orbs in high-tier trades. Corrupted Phantom and Corrupted Kitsune command premium prices because the 2x multiplier stacks with already-strong Mythic kits.
Verify corrupted status before trading—the purple aura and "Corrupted" label are the only reliable indicators. Scammers occasionally mislabel standard elements in Discord negotiations.
