Guide – Beginner Tutorial

Elemental Dungeons beginner guide for Roblox. Learn how to play, equip elements, clear your first dungeon, and understand core mechanics.

Welcome to Elemental Dungeons

Elemental Dungeons drops you into a lobby hub without extensive tutorial hand-holding. The core loop is simple: equip an element, join or create a dungeon lobby, defeat waves and bosses, collect loot and XP, then return to town to upgrade gear and roll new elements.

Created by Malt Games, the experience blends action combat with RPG progression. Elements function as your primary weapon, each with five ability slots unlocked through mastery levels gained by landing last hits on enemies.

Hub Navigation Basics

The lobby contains portals to dungeon selection, banner rolling stations, NPCs for crafting and skills, and storage for your growing inventory. The play button opens dungeon browser where you pick difficulty and invite friends.

Equip elements using the button on the left side of your screen. You need at least 100 gems for your first banner roll if you did not receive a starter element. Redeem codes from our codes page before spending Robux on gems.

Storage fills quickly. Sell common drops at merchant areas or use the auto-sell gamepass if you play long sessions.

Guide – Beginner Tutorial

Your First Dungeon Run

Ancient Tomb is the tutorial dungeon requiring level 1. Start on Easy or Medium difficulty with a party for faster clears. Solo is viable but slower for beginners learning attack timing.

Mobs spawn in waves. Clear all enemies before the boss door opens. Boss fights test your dodge timing—use Q dash to escape telegraphed attacks.

Last-hit mastery matters. The player dealing the killing blow gains element mastery XP. In parties, communicate or accept shared progression slower than solo last-hitting.

Element Basics

Elements interact through advantage cycles dealing 1.5x damage to counters. Fire beats Nature, Water beats Fire, and the full chart covers all elements. Carry a secondary element for type coverage once you unlock extra storage.

Abilities map to F, R, C, V, and G keys by default. M1 basic attacks exist only on select elements like Nature, Reaper, and Kitsune. Rebind controls in settings if needed.
