Why Upgrade Dash
Base dash (Q key) covers short distance for emergency dodges. Dash V2 more than doubles travel range and knocks back nearby enemies, transforming kiting and boss fight positioning.
Without Dash V2, later dungeons and raids punish players who cannot escape AoE attacks quickly. This upgrade is mandatory before serious Hardcore content.

The mysterious ??? NPC in Snow Castle sells Dash V2 before the boss arena. You need all materials before talking to them.

Material Farming Guide
Lunar Shards drop from challenge mode dungeon completions. Prioritize challenge variants when available in the dungeon selector.
Evil Drives spawn in chests across five world locations. Community maps in Discord pin exact coordinates.
Evil Amulets require Jungle Blood Moon events killing cursed mobs. Wait for Blood Moon notification or use totems that trigger events.
Air Orbs come from banner rolls or trading. Budget extras if your current element is not Air.
Gold farms efficiently through Infinite Ancient Tomb or selling Rare drops at merchants.
NPC Location
Progress through Ancient Tomb and Jungle to unlock Snow Castle. The ??? NPC stands right before the Snow Castle boss fight area.
Trade all materials in one interaction to receive Dash V2 permanently on your account.
